VALERIE MIKEL

Designer

Valerie’s interest in design began during her childhood when her family started building their dream home. Seeing a house built from the ground up and all the elements it entailed, a process that to any other child would seem mundane; to her was exciting and visually stimulating. She draws inspiration from all forms of art and music, to travels, people and nature. To her, interior design is a series of harmonious compilations that takes us on a multi-sensory journey. Valerie’s approach to design is based on emphasizing comfort and intimacy while incorporating a connection to nature – to create an emotional experience. Valerie obtained her Bachelors of Science in Interior Design with a minor in Technology from Texas State University.
